Welcome to my world of visual storytelling. I'm Kaiden Mertzel, a proud SDSU alumnus with a passion for capturing moments that unfold into captivating tales. Through my lens, I strive to make images that go beyond the surface and hold onto the emotions inside each frame.
Why I do this
Photography gives me a way to slow things down, connect with people, and capture something real in a world that moves fast. I love creating images that make people feel seen, appreciated, and remembered.
How I work
I keep things simple, relaxed, and collaborative. I create a comfortable environment so personalities come through naturally instead of forcing stiff poses.
A fun fact
My sister introduced me to photography more than ten years ago. I started because I wanted everyone to experience the feeling I got when I had my first great photo taken.
